Blackfilm.com has posted a slew of new images from the film In The Land of Women, shoot here in Victoria back in the spring of last year. The movie stars Meg Ryan, Adam Brody, Kristen Stewart, Makenzie Vega and Olympia Dukakis. Most of the film was shot in the Oak Bay area and some in Mayfair Shopping Centre doubling as a Mall with a cinema.
The film tells the story of a man, Adam Brody, who moves to Detroit to care for his Grandmother, Olympia Dukakis, after breaking up with an actress. Not planning it he forms a bond with the family across the street.
