Images: Bridge to Terabithia, Sturdust

While Pan's Labyrinth is getting rave reviews, two more films of Fantasy are in production and showing their wares.

Bridge to Terabithia is the story based on the experiences of David Paterson, as written by his mother the Newberry Award winning author Katherine Paterson. Now David is grown and has adapted his mothers novel into a film that he is producing. For fans of the book this is very good news as it means the adaption will be a true representation of the original work.

While I'm sure I've seen these images before of Neil Gaiman's Stardust here they are all the same. The story is set in a town in the English countryside where the magical and mortal mix. The tale is focused on a young man who promises his beloved that he'll retrieve a fallen star by venturing into the magical realm, where he has to contend with witches, goblins, gnomes, talking animals and evil trees. Directed by Matthew Vaughn and staring an amazing cast including Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Peter O'Toole, Claire Danes, and Ian McKellen as the narrator.
