Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz series of novels, joining the Broadway musical Wicked as yet another major spin-off based on the author's public domain works.

Slated to start filming this month in Vancouver, the cast join will join Zooey Deschanel, Alan Cumming and Richard Dreyfuss.

Tin Man is executive produced by Robert Halmi Sr. and Robert Halmi Jr.
