Cedarwood Productions are delighted to announce that they have been awarded a Bronze Remi award at the Houston WorldFest International Film Festival for their short comedy / drama film The Touchtone Affair. The film was shot and made in Victoria, from a script by talented Vancouver writer Darren Williams and starring actors Michael John Unger and Stacey Lynn Mitchell. The film also featured our very own A-Channel newscasters Erick Thomson and Jordan Cunningham acting as police officers brandishing guns - a role the public don't normally see them in!
The local creative team included Producer Karen Davies, Director and Editor Dai Davies and DOP Robin Miller.
Houston WorldFest is the third oldest film festival in North America, with an outstanding reputation and this year it attracted over 4,500 entries from all over the world.
