MTV is planning to remake the 1975 cult classic turned cultural institution The Rocky Horror Picture Show reports Variety.The new version will use the original screenplay by Richard O'Brien and Jim Sharman but may also include music cut from the original film. This would also mean new scenes to yet at.
No decisions have been made in regards to cast or director, but MTV hope to have the project finished by Halloween 2009.
