Olivia Wilde and Beau Garrett, are the first official cast to sign on for Disney's Tron 2.0.In the follow-up to the 1982 classic, Wilde will play a worker in the virtual world who tries to help fight Master Control Program, the villainous intelligence protocol that was the nemesis in the original film.
Garrett will play a virtual siren. The male lead has not been cast but screen testing is underway.
Shooting begins this spring under the helm of Joseph Kosinski. Sean Bailey, Jeff Silver, and original Tron writer/director Steven Lisberger are producing.
