Having started Friday at 6pm Desert Bus for Hope by the Loading Ready Run comedy crew of Victoria has raised well over $51,000. All this money goes to Child's Play, the charity to provide games, toys and books for patients in children's hospitals in six countries.
Desert Bus is considered to be the worst game ever made. The goal is to drive a bus on a straight desert road from Tucson to Vegas at the maximum speed of 45 MPH in real time, that takes 8hrs for one trip and one point. The trick to the game is that the Bus veers to the right.
The more donations that the LRR crew receive, the longer they'll drive the bus. So far they've driven for 88 Hrs and have taken donations to take them to 120 hours.
