Marvel Studios has released a list of new cast members to the Ant-Man film that has just recently started shooting in San Francisco. John Slattery (Mad Men) returns to his previous role of Howard Stark in Iron Man 2. Also on the list Judy Greer (Archer), Bobby Cannavale (Boardwalk Empire), and six-year old Abby Ryder Fortson as Cassie Young, the daughter of Scott Lang, played by Paul Rudd.Previously announced cast other than Paul Rudd are: Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll and Michael Pena.
Along with the list of cast members, a new synopsis was issued.
Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
Filming moves to Atlanta soon ahead of a currently slated for July 17th 2015 release.
