Loki seems to be taking place after Loki disappeared with the Tesseract, as seen in Avengers: Endgame. Loki is arrested and recruited by a temporal agency, TVA to fix the problems with the proper flow of time affected by his interaction with the Tesseract.
The show was set to premier in May, but is now set for June 11, 2021 on Disney+. This six episodes will lead it right past the film premier of Black Widow on July 9.
